Create your venue

On top of the domain you set up the digital menu service — the venue you will be managing in every lesson that follows.

What you will learn

  • How the menu service is added to a domain
  • What details the venue starts with

Step by step

  1. 1

    Add a service

On the Control Panel, on your domain's card, press “Add service”. The wizard has four stops — Service, Language, Currency, Menu details — and opens on the first: the menu package, with Reservations and Delivery marked “Coming soon”.

Step 1: Add a service — Create your venue
  2. 2

    The menu's language

Choose the default language — the one you will write your products in. Here English (United Kingdom) wears the Default badge, ticked. More languages come later, in the Settings lesson.

Step 2: The menu's language — Create your venue
  3. 3

    Name and create

Give the business name — “The Oak Tavern” — this is what guests see at the top of the menu. The summary underneath is honest: Menu + Orders, free for 30 days, then €150.00/year. Press “Start free trial”, and the card gains “Manage service”: your door into every lesson that follows.

Step 3: Name and create — Create your venue

Good to know

The menu is already live at its address from the first minute — it is simply empty until the Products lesson.
